The handle is made by attaching the clay to the body of the mug that was thrown on the wheel then we pinch it in a very specific pattern to cradle your fingers. The mug is well balanced and effortless to hold even when full of a piping hot beverage. There is a cozy little indentation in the wall of the mug just under the handle to give your knuckles a little extra room or to provide a comfy spot for your thumb if your a mug cuddler like me.
Holds approximately 12 ounces. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
