Pasteur would have sold a wide variety of medicines and medical supplies, including: Herbs and spices, extracts and tinctures, essential oils, minerals and salts, ointments and creams and so on.
In addition to the above, Pasteur's apothecary would likely have been a place of innovation and discovery. He was always eager to learn new things and to experiment with new ideas. It is possible that he would have used his apothecary as a laboratory to develop new medicines and treatments for diseases. His vision defined his life and made him famous all over the world for his inventions and discoveries.

I was fortunate enough to win this soap and I’m lovin’ it. My wife loves it for her leg shaves too.
The scent to me is nice but it's also one that, if you own quite a few soaps as I do, you probably already own something that is very close to this. Being done by Wholly Kaw, the base is good and the price is reasonable. I was really hoping to like this one a lot but I get a 'Been here, done that' feeling with Pasteur Vision
This soap (and matching splash) is a great testament of Pasteur Pharmacy and their involvement in Wetshaving through the years! The history of the Pharmacy itself (Timmerman), the name it carries and the imagination of Sri from Wholly Law, made a great performing and smelling product. The new tallow base with creme Fraiche, the sweet, spicy and woody notes in the perfect balance, is just a home run!

This is my second Wholly Kaw shave soap. This performed quitte well and certainly gave a slick lather and a wonderful shave. The scent on this is complex and intricate, yet.the end result is phenomenal. Highly recommend.
