I just recently got a Simpsons Eagle G3 Pure Badger brush. It’s listed as a 24mm knot just like my Stirling on the right made from finest Badger. I was a little iffy upon getting the Simpsons because of the notable size differences in a supposedly same 24mm knot.
Well not anymore! I’m a believer! I don’t know the science but the Simpsons Eagle G3 just gave me the best shave of my life. I had no idea that a quality brush would change my shave that much. I love the Stirling brush and always will but it’s no lie that the way to achieve a bbs shave starts with the brush. Hell I just used a blade that is on its 3rd shave not expecting anything to be that different just my using the Simpsons. I can’t imagine how well it’s going to do when I load a new blade in my Yates.
Love this handle, absolutely love it. This is the most comfortable handle ever designed. The G3 is a fantastic brush. You can’t go wrong with this.
