Attention all baseball fans! Gather around and get ready to hear the tale of "Batters Up". This fragrance will take you on a journey through the sights and smells of the baseball diamond.

As the game begins, the scent of fresh green pepper and crisp aldehydes fills the air, creating a sense of excitement and anticipation. The crack of the bat can be heard in the distance, as the tarred maple bat hits the ball with a satisfying thwack.

As the game progresses, the scent of violet leaf and musk mingles with the aroma of the baseball glove, evoking memories of those long summer afternoons spent playing catch in the backyard. The fragrance is rounded out with a hint of patchouli, giving it a subtle, earthy undertone.

But what really sets "Batters Up" apart is its strong used leather scent. As you lather up with this shave soap, you'll feel as though you're holding a well-worn baseball glove in your hand.

So, whether you're a die-hard baseball fan or just looking to switch up your shaving routine, "Batters Up" is the fragrance for you. Experience the thrill of the game every time you lather up.

Not for the novice

Batters Up is a scent that will make the newb recoil in horror and disgust. But for the diehard fragrance enthusiast, all is well. There is a Eau de Parfum by the fragrance house of Le Labo called Patchouli 24. Its scent is redolent of a barbeque, chicken slathered thick with BBQ sauce, with some dark woods. It's what the ardent father smells like when he returns to the house after cooking for a Super Bowl party. Batters Up shares the same continuum, but far to the right. It smells as though the father has drank a few too many beers and, aghast, realizes that his BBQ chicken has been reduced to black. The BBQ sauce has incinerated, as have the low-hanging branches from the tree nearby. When the smoke clears, the scent remains. This is Batters Up. Ah, something different, much to the relief of the fragrance connoissuer.

Probably the worst smelling shaving soap I've ever smelled. This is a real misstep for Noble Otter. Normally I love NO and look forward to all of their new releases. Plus, I've purchased just about every set they have over the past several years. While I didn't necessarily like every single scent they've come out with, I've never been so completely put off that I would actually return the set! After opening the tub, I was met with the smell of rotting vegetables. I almost couldn't believe what I smelling. When you look at the scent notes, aged leather certainly makes sense. Green pepper? As in green bell pepper? Not the wisest choice in my opinion. I get what they were going for, but it just doesn't work.
