The scent profile of Palo Santo is an earthy, somewhat spicy scent that gets its name from the Palo Santo wood, known as "Holy Wood," that is indigenous to Central and South America. This wood was burned by saints and shamans for centuries for purposes of spiritual purification and to enhance a person's spiritual energy. Palo Santo is one of those scents that can be appreciated by men and women alike. In this fragrance blend, you will find notes of vanilla, mint, mild sage, citrus and cedar, somewhat similar to frankincense. Palo Santo is believed to be a stress relieving, calming scent thought to clear the mind, sharpen focus, especially when used before meditation.
