  • Wet the area to be shaved with hot water, then rub the end of the stick over the area to be shaved.

  • Run hot water over the shaving brush, and shake some of the excess water out.

  • Swirl brush in a circular motion along with short back and forth strokes to build the lather directly on the skin, adding small amounts of hot water to the brush as needed.

  • Build lather until the desired consistency is achieved.

No-frills - smooth, efficient shave

Removed about an inch of the protective paper from the ARCO shave stick and placed the exposed tip upside-down into a bottom cover of hot water to soften the soap stick - then applied liberally to my wet face before lathering this soap directly on my face. The ARCO shave soap stick delivered a great, no-frills, smooth, efficient shave, creating plenty of lather on my brush - enough for my 3 passes and cleanup pass ....
Not fond of the scent,
but this product is cheap enough and delivers on all counts

Argo shave stick

I’m giving this soap 5 stars based on its superior performance…. BUT… I don’t use this soap because of the scent. For some people it smells like a laundry soap but for others, like myself, The scent more resembles a urinal puck. So the scent is very polarizing but no one argues about the performance. It doesn’t matter if you face lather or bowl lather, the soap delivers.
